10/13/02 - Mid October brings us to the close of another fantastic year of fly fishing in the Canadian Rockies.

Although record spring flows kept us off the rivers early in the season, visiting anglers were not disappointed when we started guiding in the third week of July.

Golden Stone and Salmon Flies were prevalent at the start of the year, with strong Green Drake, PMD, Flav and Blue Winged Olive hatches keeping us 'on top' for the remainder of the summer and fall.

We spent 75-80% of this year fishing dry flies!

Catch rates remained high again this year, with many sizable fish taken on both the Elk, it's tributaries and our neighboring rivers in Southwestern Alberta.

Our 2003 season should start in early July, with our Salmon and Golden Stone Flies normally in abundance at this time. to review spring flows and river information.

Please don't hesitate to contact us to discuss your trip on the...
